Mission:
The mission of Brentwood Christian Academy is to promote
academic excellence in Christian education by providing a
college preparatory program; to equally nurture the heart
and mind of the students for a lifelong love of learning;
and to prepare them for their future careers and service to
their communities. The integration of academic excellence in
the context of a biblical worldview is the foundation of
Brentwood Christian Academy.
Academy Philosophy:
As a college preparatory academy Brentwood Christian Academy
emphasizes those studies, disciplines, and activities that
are mentally and spiritually challenging, thus the Academy
concentrates upon the study of history, literature, and
languages, music, drama, art, the natural and social
sciences and mathematics. Brentwood Christian Academy
encourages a variety of social and service activities.
Brentwood Christian Academy intends to teach all students to
think clearly, to make relevant and valid judgments, to
defend their Christian beliefs, and to communicate with
others in the realm of ideas. The academy holds a priceless
inheritance from the Christian faith. This timeless faith
holds true no matter what generation, what decade, what
culture. It is a moral compass that guides our thoughts,
inside and outside of class, our attitudes toward our
studies, and our love for our fellowman.
For unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be
required, and to whom men have committed much, of him they
will ask the more. Luke 12:48. We are accountable for the
knowledge, resources, and abilities God has blessed us with.
If we have been given much, then he expects that much more
from us. The good news is that all of these blessings come
from the Lord. The Lord gives us wisdom and spirit so that
we can be faithful stewards over what He has entrusted to
us.
